Its patented design lets you rig the bridle with only three shackles, eliminating the bunched-together cluster of gear needed with conventional flounder plates. The shackle arrangement also eliminates the multiple bends in tow wire or pennant that cause wear and weakness. Cast nickel-chrome steel assures resistance to corrosion.
