Anchor Shackle

Chain Shackle |
Towing Shackles for
both marine and construction use, MARQUIP shackles provide maximum load
capacity and safety. Their wide jaws make for easy installation on chains,
tow plates, tow wires, other shackles, or pad eyes. Bails and pins are
forged from extra-high-strength 4340 alloy steel, and each pin specially
machined and fitted to its shackle to minimize wear.
Available with working load limits from 40 to 185 tons;
single and double nut. Certifications available on request. Shackles can
be rebuilt and re-certified. |

No.1 |
Towing Plates that
are simpler, stronger and safer - that's the MARQUIP tow plate. Its
patented design lets you rig the bridle with only three shackles,
eliminating the extra cost, weight, time and risk of older-style flounder
plates. The No. 2 Towplate features an extra hole for a tandem shackle to
tow additional barges, or to haul in the bridle. Cast from nickel-chrome
steel, MARQUIP plates also provide maximum corrosion resistance. They are
available in 300,000#, 485,000# and 624,000# pull test capacities, and can
be certified upon request.

Forged Links |
MARQUIP forged detachable chain connecting
links replace bulky shackles and end links. They
make better-than-original repair or replacement links, they serve as
connecting links for 90' shots of chain and they ride through hawse pipes
and over wildcats as
smoothly as normal chain. made of alloy steel, heat-treated to tensile
strength of approximately 150,000 PSI, they're as strong as or stronger
than the chain links. The positive-lock assembly consists of a stainless
steel pin and lead plug; the break tests surpass USN and ABS requirements.
Additional certifications are available upon request. Links are available
in sizes up to 3-1/2". Cast links are also available, in sizes up to
4-3/4"
